How I went from broke to rich in ten years:
Realize it will take ten years.
Stop trying to shortcut your own life.
Commit to work on something for a minimum of 4 years. You can pivot, but you can’t quit.
Change your mind when presented with new information.
Always try to make the best decision. Remove ego, take less of a bigger pie.
Have a partner.
I couldn’t have done it solo.
Be generous.
I’ve found whatever I give to the world comes back to me 10x
Find a big wave and ride it.
Most of my success comes down to meta and Ecom taking market share from malls and tv ads
Be where businesses are.
I’d have less money if I stayed in the north west. Get to LA, SF, NYC, Miami, or Texas.
Don’t sell your soul.
I could have made an extra million dollars off of agency referrals or launching a coin.
But if you don’t believe in it, don’t do it.
Life is short, work is the biggest chunk of hours you spend.
You need to work on something you like, with people you like, and you need to own the upside.
