No. 7 Linden pulled off a statement win, handing top-ranked Plainfield its first in-state loss with a 58–55 victory. It was a redemption night for the Tigers after a buzzer-beater loss in the previous meeting, and Linden sealed it with clutch defense down the stretch.

Asante Jones led the way with 18 points, while Jones and Jaren Barnett came up with crucial stops late to lock in the win.
