RIP @GethardShow. Thank you @ChrisGethard for being recklessly punk enough to put a largely unknown weirdo diy band from Pity Me, Durham on television. Much love and success in future to all involved. #losewell#tcgs 🌈🚀💐
thank you to @ChrisGethard and that entire team for making the outsiders feel inside for once. what used to make me feel so different is now my badge of honor, thanks in part to creative weirdos like you.
One time we drove across the country in an RV, and this photo was taken minutes before we went to sleep. @willhines@ChrisGethard and I slept in that dumb area above the drivers seat. Top 20 worst nights of sleep I ever had - RIP @GethardShow
Proud of everything we got to do. Excited for everything that is to come. But when I got this news from @ChrisGethard I emailed him back the following:
"Here's to the nights we felt alive"
-The lead singer for Eve 6 (i will not look up his name)
Thank you TCGS. For everything.
A @GethardShow themed version of this @ChrisGethard quote I did awhile back. The family is us & the family will continue to follow & support each other. RIP TCGS / Long live TCGS
Doing The Chris Gethard Show felt like how I always wanted TV to feel. It felt how people describe early Letterman or Ernie Kovacs. Combine that with Jackass and frank discussions of mental health. It was actually unique. And not much is.
Playing @GethardShow was one amazing thing on my band bucket list that I’m so glad we were able to do. I nearly lost my mind that night (most of 2017, really) but being a part of that world for a moment was amazing. Long live the Chris Gethard Show. 💜
The Chris Gethard Show was as authentic as its host. @ChrisGethard is punk rock. Will miss this show and all the amazing talented people who were a part of it.
