@dilanesper Uhh if it’s a choice between a short broadway cameo and getting flown around by billionaires with matters before the court, which one is more unseemly?
@JoshWilliamsOH “behavior that incites violent brawls” and not the “starting violent brawls” yeah ok
Also we have this thing called the first amendment. At least that’s what they teach us in Ann Arbor.
@solomonmissouri I maintain that corporate fiduciary duty laws (which basically say that the primary duty is to maximize profit and shareholders can sue otherwise) is one of the core sources of evil that we have.
@sweetadelinevt@GBHNews Good article! I’m curious how antitrust cases against the largest prison call providers (and general shenanigans with Securus in general) affects stuff like this. Especially important to ensure facilities aren’t being overcharged.
@DEC0L0NIZE I have been declining biometric face scans at security because at least it only takes a human TSA agent a millisecond to see that you are who you say. I don't want to have my mask down while some camera figures stuff out and possibly glitches.
@ArmandDoma It’s very productive (and I’d argue better) to pivot right to concrete policy changes, since we’ve had time to prepare & plan. Doesn’t mean we need to muster up energy to get a million people to march. Smart progressive groups, like my union, have been doing this for a while.
