The issue with the Shounen Jump format of you remove the weekly schedule is how important their weekly surveys are.

The helpline operator had the power to stop the entire plot and chose corporate indifference instead. That’s the real horror.
Bear made bad choices, but the company knowingly hands out reality-altering wishes with no refunds, no safeguards, and no emergency support. That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.
