I don't think he knows this is precisely what we Muslims believe as well:

"and for their saying, “We have certainly killed the Jesus the son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah”, while in fact they did neither kill him, nor crucify him, but they were deluded by resemblance. Those who disputed in this matter are certainly in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it, but they follow whims. It is absolutely certain that they did not kill him" - [Quran: 4: 157]

Allah also says:

"Muhammad is no more than a Messenger; other messengers have gone before him. If he were to die or to be killed, would you regress into disbelief? Those who do so will not harm Allah whatsoever. And Allah will reward those who are grateful." - [Quran: 3: 144)

The great companion Abu Bakr (RA) said of Prophet Muhammad's death (peace be upon him):

"Whoever among you worshipped Muhammad, then Muhammad is dead, but whoever worshipped Allah, then Allah is alive and will never die".

Peace be upon our beloved Jesus and Muhammad, and all who follow them in goodness, establish their justice, and uphold their righteousness.
