Real question, why is drawing the katana facing away from the opponent more efficient than drawing it with the blade towards them already? I must’ve missed the explanation in the manga somewhere and I’m trying to figure it out (photos to try and explain what I mean, left is IWPS)

I think the framing of this panel is very purposeful, chihiro Is not only far away but seen from behind, Samura could’ve absolutely used suzaku here and we wouldn’t have seen (which is all but confirmed at this point imo)
