מזרח תיכון חדש?
למדתי מקבוצות ווטסאפ שונות, כי היום, בישיבה סגורה כלשהי, מצא ראש הממשלה פנאי לתקוף את ראש הממשלה השמיני ונשיא המדינה התשיעי שמעון פרס ז"ל, כדי להאדיר את גדולת הישגיו הנוכחיים בשינוי פני המזרח התיכון.
"אנחנו עושים פה מזרח תיכון חדש, אבל לא המזרח תיכון במשקפים הוורודים של שמעון פרס, אלא סדר חדש באמת. מתוך עוצמה". והוסיף: "אני מעריך מאוד את פרס על החזון – הרבה פחות על הביצוע".
כמעט עשור חלף מאז שאבי הלך לעולמו. לצערי הוא עצמו לא יכול להגיב לדברים.
חשבתי שבהעדרו, נכון שאומר לך, ראש הממשלה, כמה דברים.
בעיקר אתייחס לאמירה האומללה "כושר הביצוע, ממנו אתה פחות מלהב"
פרס הקדיש את חייו לבניין כוחה של מדינת ישראל. הוא היה איש הביצוע ב"הא" הידיעה, של דוד בן גוריון. מי שהקים את המדינה. זה מתחיל ברכש ובמשלוחי נשק על פני חצי עולם, בדרך לא דרך, מה שאפשר לצה"ל לנצח את מלחמת העצמאות. זה המשיך עם הקמת הכור בדימונה, שנקרא על שם פרס, בהחלטתך!. מישהו מכיר פרויקט קשה יותר לביצוע??. בהמשך, הקמת התעשייה האווירית ורפא"ל, חילוץ בני הערובה במבצע אנטבה, אותו יזם והוביל. כנגד כל הסיכויים. מבצע בו נפל אחיך הגיבור יוני ז"ל. תסכים איתי שהיה זה מהמבצעים המפוארים שידעה מדינת ישראל. וכמובן, יכולת ביצוע מופלאה. פרס פעל להוצאת צה"ל מעומק לבנון לאחר מלחמת שלום הגליל. כראש ממשלת הרוטציה, שנת 1984יחד עם שר אוצר אמיתי, הציל את המשק הישראלי שקרס עם 450% אינפלציה (!!!). ותוך שנה ייצב את המשק. ולזכותו הישגים גדולים לבלי ספור. הכל כתוב. מתועד. מי כמוך יודע?
ואם כבר מדברים על יכולות הביצוע של ממשלתך ושריך, אומר בגילוי לב, שגם אני פחות נלהב. במיוחד אחרי כישלון השבעה באוקטובר
מן הראוי היה שתגלה מעט צניעות, בבואך לבקר את יכולותיו של איש הביצוע המרכזי בהקמתה וביסוסה של מערכת הביטחון הישראלית. זו שבזכותה מדינת ישראל קיימת. זו שכעת אתה - וגם אני - ועוד רבים כל כך, חבים לה חוב אדיר, גאים בהישגיה, ביכולותיה, ובעיקר במסירותם של המשרתים אותה.

@BriannaWu It would all be fine if the Jews and Palestinians enjoyed the same rights and freedoms in the West Bank… though then we would have a one state solution which no one wants at this stage. If we want a Jewish state, we need to separate asap and not to build more settlements
