I feel like it needs to be said that patient safety is not the end-game of giving healthcare workers/ residents humane work hours. Giving HCWs humane work hours is a worthy outcome in and of itself period.

@UCSFMedicine activated its racial trauma protocol to allow students to take absences, delay hw/tests. Nothing for clinicals but 1000% better than most institutions around the country who haven't even acknowledged this let alone taken real actions for AAPI students (1/2)
