Environment and Land Court Judge Joseph Mugo Kamau visited the Geta Forest block in the Aberdare Forest yesterday, alongside prominent lawyer Ndegwa Njiru, Kipipiri MP Wanjiku Muhia, and other legal parties involved in the case.

The site visit was organized to assess the extent of ongoing logging and tree-felling activities that sparked massive local uproar. Following the physical inspection of the forest ground, Justice Mugo Kamau officially extended the court orders temporarily halting all logging activities in the Aberdares ecosystem.
