We had at least 1,500 Americans serve alongside the Kurds as part of the U.S. military, and at least another hundred Americans who volunteered and went to fight with them on their own—without funding or support from the U.S. government.

Where are those voices today, as the new Syrian government and the terrorists within its ranks are massacring the Kurds in Aleppo?

The U.S. government’s ally in Syria today captured a young Kurdish boy as part of their genocide against the Kurds in Aleppo, you will see many images of him as they stripped him down into his underwear for propoganda and humiliation. What I hope you don’t see is where they then tortured him which included gouging out his eyes and taking his heart out of his body.

In what universe is our relationship in Syria an America first policy. What the hell are we doing here?! When our partners commit atrocities against the very people who fought and bled alongside us, what exactly are we defending? And why are we still pretending this policy is anything other than a moral and strategic failure?

When people are being tortured and murdered, politics be damned—we need to choose the side that is right. Otherwise, we are NO better than the terrorists committing these crimes. In this case, everyone on the ground believes the U.S. is giving its blessing to what’s happening in Aleppo. None of this is okay.
