The one common beginner’s gym injury that I see again and again is the Rotator cuff injury (commonly reported as shoulder pain while pushing and external rotation)
Cause:
- Lack of warm-up
- No progression
- Ego lifting
- Bad form

@DivyaOYR I agree that a jacked person doesn't always have to be fit. However a jacked person can also be world’s no.1 in endurance sports. Our body adapts to the training that we undergo.

3 muscle gain mistakes that were silently killing my progress:
1) Immediate Cold Shower
It's an amazing way of recovery. But if your goal is growing muscles, you have to cooldown your body first, and maintain a gap of at least 20 min before a cold shower.
2) Overtraining
Let’s say you did shoulders today. Repeating the same muscles before 48 hrs steals the benefits of main recovery and growth.
3) Extreme Calorie Deficit
Protein intake matters. However lack of calories will hinder the recovery and shuts the energy that is necessary for growth. Your body has other survival functions going on and it will prioritize survival over growth.
