@SLawson1417 I watched WWE for something like 2 decades and saw its quality decline to the point where I can't watch anymore. That said, I don't want to see it fail, I hope it gets better, and gives loyal fans like you the show you deserve. I'm happy watching AEW, but that's beside the point.

Book a show in the same city as your competition to fuck with their ticket sales, fail miserably.

Now you don’t wanna do the show, but you have to.

Refuse to announce where/how to watch despite fans constantly asking for this info for weeks.

Finally announce the night before that you’ll run it on a tape delay to go head-to-head with your competition’s show on Wednesday after your first plan fell flat on it’s face.

This comes off like an extremely mentally fragile company with no real confidence in what they do.

I am of the opinion that Evil Uno is one of the most important wrestlers in Canadian history.

His career in the ring has been legendary and a case study for many Canadian indie wrestlers in terms of how to find success beyond out borders.

He co-founded The Keep, which has trained a generation of Canadian indie talent that has sustained the Ottawa-Gatineau scene for years and will continue to do so for as long as they remain open.

He co-founded Mystery Wrestling and their team has grown a silly little project for fun into one of the foremost independent wrestling promotions IN THE WORLD.

He's transferred the success of Mystery Wrestling into a talent initiative that will now enable 25 of Canada's top independent wrestling talent to work legally in the biggest independent wrestling market in the world.

Uno could have stopped after the first paragraph. Instead he took everything that career afforded him and gave it back to Canadian wrestling.

Uno is Player 1 because he is number 1. The best.

AEW fans are in on the joke, kayfabe is dead. Ospreay has been a big part of this modern approach to wrestling and this entrance and video is a reflection of that modern approach.
