Gartner's Market Guide for Cyberstorage signals a clear shift: storage must now participate proactively in cyber defense.
Most enterprise security strategies overlook one critical layer: storage and backup.
Modern ransomware doesn't just encrypt files - it targets backup systems, exploits misconfigurations, and evades detection at the data layer. Reactive backup strategies are no longer enough.
Gartner's Market Guide for Cyberstorage signals a clear shift: storage must now participate proactively in cyber defense.
That means continuous posture management โ monitoring for configuration drift, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps across your entire storage estate.
Core6's StorageGuard was named a Representative Vendor in the guide for doing exactly that.

@antonioguterres Dear @antonioguterres, can you help Israel get its citizens that are held hostage by Hamas in Gaza please? Israel is desperately looking for them all over Gaza for over 2 months now. Itโs probably the shortest path to ceasefire.
@RepRashida@RepRashida, It would have been better if Hamas had released those they kidnapped from their homes in Israel on October 7th, instead of subjecting them to harsh conditions underground. And just a reminder: it was Hamas who broke the ceasefire this morning.
@hzomlot, I wonder why Israel is doing it? Just because Hamas fired rockets this morning on Israeli cities instead of releasing hostages as was agreed? Or maybe also because Hamas killed, raped and kidnapped so many Israelis from their homes on Oct 7, keeps them starved underground and wonโt return them to Israel?
@RogerLapin2@1james_elder I respected your points and tried a discussion. The world is supportive of Israel because it looks at the reality and facts while it seems you're nothing more than an anti-Semite.
