Exclusive: Billionaire Ken Griffin is appalled that Mayor Zohran Mamdani used his 24,000-square-foot Manhattan penthouse last week as the backdrop for a tax-the-rich video, and that has triggered a subtle threat of re-evaluating investment in the city. https://t.co/omvtf8cDBi
🚨 JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon just dropped an UNEXPECTED take on Iran.
“It’s much more important that this be successfully completed, than what the market does.”
Dimon says the markets are unpredictable right now, but regardless, EVERYONE should be hoping for Trump to succeed in Iran.
DIMON: “I think the market...you know, markets are unpredictable and it’s hard for me to tell you exactly what.”
“But I think they’re just looking at is there a chance something can go wrong?”
“Now we should all hope nothing goes wrong. We should all hope that these bad people are...you know, that we win this thing and clean up straits and that Iran is no longer a threat to anybody.”
“The markets will be concerned until it is over.”
“But I think it’s VERY important...it’s much MORE important that this be successfully completed than what the market does.”
Wall Street’s most powerful CEO just said winning in Iran is more important than the what stock market does in the short term.
From Day One, the mission was crystal clear: This was the final, best chance to wipe out Iran’s threat for good - so they can never have a nuclear weapon.
@SecRubio breaks it down ⬇️
DEBATE. Coleman Hughes (@Coldxman) presses Glenn Greenwald (@GGreenwald):
Can you make the case for me—based on actual evidence—that we’re fighting the Iran war because of Israeli influence of some kind?
🇺🇸🇮🇱 Joe Kent in 2024 on Israel:
“They’re going scorched earth in Gaza… they’re doing what I think any rational actor would do that’s faced with a threat like that.”
His views on Israel seem to have changed a lot over the past few years.
🚨 BREAKING: Karoline Leavitt eviscerates resigned NCTC Director Joe Kent for claiming President Trump was manipulated by Israel into attacking Iran
"He put out this resignation with many falsehoods throughout — essentially accusing the president of being manipulated by foreign governments. That's laughable and it's insulting!"
Gold Star wife here.
My husband didn’t die for Israel. He died because this war has been targeting Americans for decades. Long before most people ever started paying attention.
We didn’t suddenly stumble into this because of Israel. Our service members have been in the crosshairs of Iranian-backed terror networks for years. That’s the reality families like mine have lived with.
So spare me the talking point that this is “Israel’s war.”
Some of us have already paid for it in American blood.
Sharon did warn Bush privately that invading Iraq was "the wrong war," fearing it would empower Iran as the bigger regional threat (per his aides & multiple reports from 2002). Curveball's fabricated claims on mobile bioweapons labs were indeed a key part of the flawed WMD intel that justified the invasion.
Israel supported removing Saddam in principle but Sharon's government stayed mostly silent & didn't push hard for war—unlike some US neocons. Iraq had multiple drivers: post-9/11 fears, oil, regime change ideology.
Kent's letter echoes similar "lobby pressure" claims on today's Iran situation; history's complex, not one-sided.
The internet: IM NOT FCKING DYING FOR ISRAEL! Our soldiers don’t want to fight Israel’s wars!
IDF soldier to American pilot: it is a great honor for us to fight with you.
American pilot: likewise! Please be safe out there. Strike hard.
Michael Shellenberger: Trump is clearly in charge and he's dismantled the old foreign policy establishment.
@shellenberger "Trump is in charge. He’s making these decisions. There’s nobody behind him pulling the strings. Not the Russians. Not the Israelis.
Elon gave him $250M and he still didn't get the EV credit."
