More than a photographer, he is a cultural architect framing African excellence with global elegance and reshaping how the continent is perceived, both at home and abroad.

In a world where visuals speak before words, Asante’s work commands attention. Each image is more than a portrait it is a story, a statement, and a celebration of identity. As the founder and creative force behind Laceup Media, he merges fashion, portraiture, and branding with a cinematic edge that is both contemporary and timeless. His lens has captured global celebrities, cultural icons, and emerging talents alike, always with the same dedication to authenticity, dignity, and distinction.

What makes Asante’s journey remarkable is its unconventional beginning. Originally trained as a telecommunications engineer, he stumbled upon photography while searching for quality visuals for the websites he was designing. Picking up the camera out of necessity, he uncovered a passion that would evolve into a powerful career. Today, that pivot has positioned him at the forefront of African creativity, with editorials, high-end campaigns, and groundbreaking digital projects to his name.
