There is no Biblical mandate for invasion of your culture.

In the Old Testament, foreigners (referred to as aliens and sojourners) were to be offered grace by the Israelites as God offered it to them as strangers in a stranger land, but these were to be temporary stations. There were not permitted permanent pockets of paganism. There was no little Moab in Israel as we have Little Mogadishu. If you wanted to stay, you had to assimilate right down to religious conversion -- as the Moabitess Ruth did.

In the New Testament, The Church is a global entity that transcends borders by sending missionaries elsewhere to disciple nations from within. God's presence upon the earth is no longer confined to a singular temple and nation-state for worship and atoning sacrifices, but God's people are now living sacrifices and temples of the Holy Spirit. The nation-state maintains law and order (see Romans 13), including borders, but we take the Gospel with us where we go. We don't bring foreign gods in.

In fact, in the Scriptures being lawlessly overrun by foreigners and foreign gods are a sign of judgment. Sorry not sorry if you're seeker-sensitive church never taught you that.

In case there's ANY confusion, CS Lewis literally intended Aslan to be the incarnation of Christ inside the world of Narnia.

When Lucy and Edmund learn they cannot return to Narnia again, Aslan comforts them by saying they'll know him again in their own world: "There I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name".

Aslan is more than an allegory for Christ, he *is* how the creatures of Narnia experience Christ in their world just as we experience Jesus Christ as an incarnate MAN in ours.

To cast Meryl Streep as Aslan in Greta Gerwig's Narnia is a slap in the face to the genius of Lewis, but also a deliberate mockery of Christianity that is 100% intentional. So deeply disappointing.

Makes me wonder what else they'll mock about this Christian story...

This is a foolish constitutional amendment proposal. We already have a maxed out rainy day fund and have run the largest surpluses in state history.

Any additional revenue should be used for lower taxes, including assisting local governments with grants so that homestead properties can be exempt from local property tax. Surplus revenue could also be used to remove tolls once the property tax issue is settled.
