Marching on Together......

[Dale Johnson @DaleJohnsonBBC]

The James Tarkowski penalty decision isn't about arm position, but how he leans into the path of the shot and blocks it with the arm.

Regardless of the arm being close to the body, this can be seen as handball.

Once given, very difficult for the VAR to get involved. #LEEEVE

[GilesMOT @GilesMOT]

@BBCWYS Bettering the average for 18th only works if one of the existing 17 drop into the bottom 3. We need to match/better the average for 17th that's 36-38 points. A point a game

[GilesMOT @GilesMOT]

@cjp_88 pretty sure more people are grouped together meaning 1 person in queue = 3-4 tickets

[GilesMOT @GilesMOT]

@DaveSmith130049 Agree but they're damned if they do, damned if they don't. AFCON is a big issue especially for teams with smaller/lower quality squads losing your first choice midfield for 4-6 games potentially is a risk on top of the inherent risks in buying unproven players at this level

[GilesMOT @GilesMOT]

@mcmarshon Probably my favourite growing up. Player, kit perfect

This is the real conspiracy!
Tesco profits up from £883
million to £2.3BN.

Just let that sink in. During a cost of living crisis, they made an EXTRA £1.6BN.

Running tally of all the kinds of 'working people' we've heard about in the coverage of this week's Budget

- Buy-to-let landlords
- Rural landowners
- Second-home owners
- Parents of private school children
- Anyone with a nanny

[The Purple Pimpernel @Eyeswideopen69]

Charlie Mullins, sold his business for £145 million in 2021, and divested all his UK assets, redirecting his investments to Spain and Dubai.

He lives in Marbella.

The Labour budget does not affect him at all.

Journalists — do your fucking jobs!

[GilesMOT @GilesMOT]

@pistol1603 @OllyMetcalfe Just imagine the opposite, Private schools paying rates and vat etc like normal businesses and a government proposing that they can become exempt from VAT and get business rate subsidies to help them out. It would be policy suicide. This is just closing a long standing loophole

@EssexPR Less than 1c on the dollar in 5 days..... check out Trusses non budget impact from 2022!

[Duke of Preston @DOPreston]

Today you will hear a lot about broken Labour promises from the Conservatives. So here’s a little reminder of theirs:

David Cameron “we have absolutely no plans to raise VAT”
They raised it from 17.5% to 20%

David Cameron “I wouldn’t change child benefit, I wouldn’t means test it”
They means tested it.

David Cameron “We have no plans to scrap the educational maintenance allowance”
They scrapped it.

George Osbourne “we will reduce the deficit and get debt under control”
They didn’t.

Boris Johnson “we will build 300k homes a year”
They didn’t.

Boris Johnson “we will end rough sleeping”
They didn’t.

Theresa May “we will ban no-fault evictions”
They didn’t.

Theresa May “we will ban conversion therapy”
They didn’t.

Boris Johnson “we will not raise income tax, VAT or National insurance”
They did, to the highest levels in 70 years.

Boris Johnson “we will build 40 new hospitals”
They didn’t.

Rishi Sunak “we will cut NHS waiting lists”
They didn’t.

David Cameron “we will end child poverty”
They didn’t. In 2021/2022 1 in 3 children in the UK lived in poverty.

STORY

Nigel Farage used £33,000 of UK donor cash to support Donald Trump in the US election

https://t.co/JXiQ9wYYlx

[Caitlin Johnstone @caitoz]

Israel can't ban journalists from going into Lebanon like they can in Gaza, so when Israel claimed there was a bunker under a hospital in Beirut the press just sent a bunch of reporters to investigate and they immediately saw Israel was lying. That's why they ban press from Gaza.

[Chris Bryant @RhonddaBryant]

Sorry Liz didn’t you go to the US to support Trump and haven’t you repeatedly urged people to support him?

[GilesMOT @GilesMOT]

@NicholasLissack @Keir_Starmer Seriously?? he's not the worst in the last 5 years, he doesn't even make the to 3 worst PMs since 2019!!
