Yesterday, Maureen and Denise visited @PCABlackpool and had the pleasure of unveiling a brand new Sunshine Coach from @VarietyGB! 🚍

They were treated to a wonderful performance from the school’s Band, Choir and Dancers 🥁🎶💃

Today we were joined by ‘Blackpool Royalty’ as we welcomed Maureen & Denise Nolan, Lyn Staunton from Variety and members of FOPCA for the presentation of our new minibus. Our Band, Choir and Dancers entertained our guests to ensure they were all ‘In the mood for dancing!’ 🎤🎶

The importance of reading for children cannot be underestimated. Reading for pleasure can benefit a child’s education, social and cognitive development, their wellbeing and their mental health. #WorldBookDay is such an important day to celebrate with children 📚 @PCABlackpool

Fantastic news - Congratulations to the team! @EmbraceTSH @SeaViewTrust

“A Lancashire take on a gay anthem” My ears pricked up to the immutable, unique & upbeat sound of @PCABlackpool #pcaamazingbrassband performing YMCA on @BBCNWT tonight, to celebrate the official launch of Blackpool’s LGBTQ+community. What great ambassadors for @BpoolCouncil

[Gill Hughes @GillHug107]

Sunday maybe a day of rest, but not for our keen swimmers. Today PCA pupils and staff swam a fantastic 236 lengths of the pool at St.Annes in 50 mins, as they helped raise money for a great charity. #PCAbeactive @PCAprimary @PCAsecondary @PCAOracle @LythamLions

If you work in a school, check in with your headteacher. Offer them a cup of tea or coffee. It can make a huge difference for someone carrying a heavy load. Remember, they are human beings too. ☕️
