Park Community Academy are thoroughly excellent in their own right. Even their past students are return there to become teachers – which says a lot about them as an institution.
At B&FC, we understand that strong partnerships with employers are the cornerstone of building a skilled, capable workforce. It is also important to celebrate their efforts and contribution to apprenticeships. 🤝
Massive Well done again to Park Community Academy! 🎉
Much under estimated qualities & characteristics here! In addition, learn the names of pupils & staff quickly. Digest the complexities & family circumstances of your children & their blended families. Make a point of using names in your conversations across the school community.
@Headteacherchat Be visible: do the gates, the corridors, stand shoulder to shoulder with colleagues. Notice the great things they do and say it to them publicly. Muck in and do the hard yards. Be humble enough to pick up litter. Eat with the staff and kids.
A massive well done to the 5 pupils from PCA who represented @BFCCT_ in the Lancashire Ability Counts football competition in Leyland. The team won every game and were crowned worthy winners! #PCAbeactive
Today was a truly special day as we celebrated Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday! The children crafted beautiful birthday cards, learnt to draw jungle animals, wrote letters to him & discovered David's incredible life story. @fcat #DavidAttenborough
Despite the warm weather, 1M had a surprise drop of rain on the playground ☔️ Thankfully, they stayed nice and dry under their umbrellas! The class loved exploring their rain symbol and singing their rain song together as the water poured onto their umbrellas. 🌧️ @PCAprimary
Pleased to see that progress is finally being made around T&C for support staff-long overdue! Hopefully one of the early & key outcomes for this newly formed negotiating body will be nationally determined pay scales replacing locally determined decisions.

Our Band had a fantastic experience at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom, where they watched the incredible National Youth Orchestra perform a spectacular concert. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience live orchestral music in such a historic and beautiful setting. ✨🎶
Third grade teacher Ms. Fitz promised her class hot chocolate if she made this shot... and she nailed a full-court shot. 🏀
Those kids will never forget this moment 🥰
Current and past PCA pupils and staff had the pleasure of performing with BASSO in Schools Alive at Blackpool Opera House last night! 🎺 #pcaamazingband
🌿🐦 Our Key Stage 5 students have been busy being eco warriors today! They made eco-friendly bird feeders and distributed them in our local park, helping to support wildlife in the community. A fantastic example of caring for our environment! 💚✨ @PCABlackpool
This is Sir Matt Busby speaking from his hospital bed to the fans at Old Trafford following the Munich tragedy, and I can’t believe that I’ve never seen it before.
It’s absolutely spine tingling. ♥️🕊️
Remembering Jordan Sinnott who sadly passed away on this day in 2020
He saved 7 lives between the ages of 20-50 after his organs were donated following his death.
