Zelensky questioned the US diesel deal with Russia: “Why didn’t America make a diesel supply deal with Ukraine? We decide whether fuel tankers move. We decide whether Russian oil refineries will operate.” He said Russia is offering 300,000-500,000 tons per month compared with global consumption of 120 million tons monthly. “I don’t think this will have a noticeable impact,” Zelensky said, adding that he believes “different reasons” are behind the decision. #Ukraine
NEW: 🇳🇴 Chinese-owned rental cars used by the Norwegian Armed Forces reportedly recorded soldiers, their movements and security codes during a major military exercise in Oslo, raising serious questions about the security of vehicles used in sensitive military operations.
The incident occurred during Operation Hovedstad, held from September 14 to 18, when Norway’s Home Guard District 02 trained for security operations, including scenarios involving the defence of Oslo Airport during wartime.
The Armed Forces had rented the cars through Hertz Norway under a nationwide rental agreement signed in 2024, worth up to 350 million Norwegian kroner and running until May 2028. Hertz Norway’s ownership chain ultimately leads to China’s Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, which also owns Volvo Cars. The agreement provides rental vehicles for exercises, operational activities and everyday military use.
During the exercise, soldiers discovered that the cars had recorded and stored video footage. Lieutenant Fredrik Blanck told Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv (DN) that the recordings showed who entered and exited the vehicles, where they travelled, whom they picked up and how long they remained at different locations.
More concerningly, the footage reportedly captured security codes entered by soldiers when opening military gates. Some access points require both a key card and a code, meaning the recordings could expose sensitive access procedures.
The vehicles remained in use throughout the exercise because alternative transport was in limited supply.

Finnish PM Petteri Orpo called on the EU to stop issuing tourist visas to Russians.
“If we fear that Russia is trying to carry out acts of sabotage in Europe, why on earth are we so naive as to let them in as tourists and allow them to move around freely?” the minister asked.
1/ Ukraine's combat use of armed gound-based robots is having severe effects on the Russian front lines, according to first-hand accounts. "We can't even reach each other's positions. No one's even reaching them anymore," writes a Russian soldier. ⬇️

Donald Trump and his war in Iran are to blame for our nation's sky-high diesel and gas prices. His latest ploy—buying fuel from his friend Vladimir Putin—reeks of weakness and will help pay for Russia’s war but will do nothing to make life more affordable for American families.
The American people deserve a leader who cares about them, and the Ukrainian people deserve allies who will stand by their side in the fight for a free, democratic, and independent nation.
- Olena Zelenska 🇺🇦:
"If Ukrainian soldiers, despite fierce resistance against the enemy and the loss of their comrades, haven't got tired of liberating Ukrainian land, and if Ukrainians, despite their grief and tears, haven't got tired of defending their children and their future, how can people somewhere in a safe country get tired of reading the news?"
"Please do not get used to this war, because if everyone gets used to it, this war will never end."

Don't stop supporting Ukraine, they need our help 🫂🇺🇦❤️
Funny how Ukraine blows up a bunch of Russian oil refineries, takes out three Yandex data centres, and suddenly Trump is talking about a ceasefire. Ukraine, you’ve got these fuckers on their back heels! Keep going! From all sane humans, THANK YOU! 💙🇺🇦
I discussed this in my evidence to the Intelligence and Security Committee in 2018. Boris Johnson tried to make sure the committee's report was never published.
Zelensky always knew that at some point Trump would go too far and totally out himself as the traitor to the West he truly is.
Zelensky's self-restraint in the meantime has been truly remarkable. Almost super-human, I would say.
🚨 BOMBSHELL: Hakeem Jeffries vows Democrats will hold Trump officials accountable when they retake Congress:
“We’re gonna hold you accountable. That’s not just talk.”
“One of the first things we’re gonna do in the majority, we’re gonna run Pete Hegseth out of town.”

Russia used 150,000 Twitter accounts for Brexit
There was 45,000 tweets with the majority encouraging people to vote Leave a few days before the 2016 vote
These accounts had previously focused on Russia's annexation of Crimea, before focusing on Brexit

‼️ZELENSKYY: The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received the relevant orders. We are defending Ukraine and awaiting details of U.S.-russian talks. We expect Putin to honor the agreement announced by President Trump. Unfortunately, russian Shahed drones have been in our skies all day. Ukraine wants peace. The question is whether russia does.
FULL STATEMENT:
"Today, the President of the United States announced that an energy ceasefire had been reached. This is good news for everyone, and it is important that it becomes a reality.
Ukraine supports all genuine and reliable formats for a ceasefire and an end to the war. Ukraine is ready to refrain from striking russian energy infrastructure, and we expect the same readiness from russia, as well as an agreement secured by the President of the United States on this matter. We welcome such an agreement.
Unfortunately, russian Shahed drones have been in our skies throughout the day. Shahed drones are still in the air right now. There have also been strikes with aerial bombs, unfortunately, as well as strikes on our energy infrastructure. Just moments ago, there was a strike on CHPP-5 in the city of Kharkiv, targeting Kharkiv’s energy infrastructure.
In total, over the course of this week alone, the russians have carried out more than 200 strikes against our electricity generation and transmission facilities in Ukraine. Another 17 strikes this week targeted gas and oil facilities here in Ukraine.
In just this one week, the russians have killed more than 150 of our people, and more than 700 people have been injured.
Ukraine has proposed many de-escalation measures. Putin's response to all of them was always the same: his "nyet."
We very much hope that he will finally say something different to America, Ukraine, and the entire world. Something other than killing and deception. Something that will lead to a real and dignified peace.
Ukraine wants peace. The question is whether russia wants it.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received all the corespondent orders. We are defending Ukraine. We are fighting to secure support for Ukraine. We support all steps by our partners that can help us.
We are awaiting clear details of the dialogue between America and russia, and we expect Putin to fulfill what President Trump said he had agreed to."
