Can someone explain to me how Devon and Cornwall (thank goodness) had an inordinate amount of local tourism over the summer and have ended up with one of the lowest virus rates in the country? Surely that's the model to copy. Simply that people live further apart? Mind boggling

@RCraigA Good news they got through to jet2 and they rearranged for next year, no admins cost. Bit more expensive but they new it would be £200 each more in August rather than July and 1 extra night. They were even offered a full refund of what they’ve paid but they are happy ❤️

@kevinptrpn @NurseJoeyFisher She contacted the hotel. Their names are on the list, it’s going to be a very different all inclusive experience especially for children. Their going to rearrange for next year. If they don’t do it today the admin fees go up 😢

@kevinptrpn It looks like the hotel opens the day before they arrive so it will be going ahead unless Boris makes an announcement. They will be charged £75 each to change to next year plus the extra cost of the holiday which is another £2k so not impressed 😢
