This article presents one such document, dated September 24, 2024, titled “Diagnostics report on gear-shaping equipment,” prepared by the Russian enterprise OOO OKBM, which collaborates with the aircraft manufacturing concern JSC Yakovlev.

Until July 2023, Yakovlev was known as Irkut and is part of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation. It is responsible for designing the MC-21 and SJ-100 aircraft. Following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Yakovlev has faced sanctions from 27 EU countries, the United States, and several other nations.

On #September11 , 2001, the world witnessed the deadliest terrorist attack in history. Nearly 3,000 people from over 90 countries were killed in New York, and about 6,000 were injured. Ukrainians deeply understand that pain. Today, we ourselves face the horror of terror - this time unleashed by Russia.

Back then, the United States responded swiftly and decisively, declaring a global War on Terror. Operation Enduring Freedom was launched, joined by more than 40 nations. That coalition weakened terrorist networks, but it did not destroy them completely.

Two decades later, remnants of those forces are aligning with #Russia, forming new hubs of terror. Like an untreated disease, terrorism has mutated, spreading instability to more and more regions.
The civilized world must stand united. In an age of globalization and social media, even the “butterfly effect” can trigger a storm across the globe. Every action - or inaction - has immediate consequences. When your house is on fire, ignoring the flames is not an option. If allies fail to help, they lose trust.

#Ukraine was also part of that coalition. We sent military engineers and medics, provided logistics, and trained Afghan forces.

Today, Enduring Freedom is no longer the name of an operation. It is the daily reality of the Ukrainian people - fighting for the right to live and to be free.

Even then, the geography was striking — from the permanent bases of identified Russian units inside the Russian Federation to the geolocations in Donbas where their servicemen were recorded. The scope of evidence was already clear.

InformNapalm was the first international volunteer intelligence community to document these facts so extensively. That work later became part of the evidence base for international courts, including the largest inter-state case “Ukraine and the Netherlands vs. #Russia” at the European Court of Human Rights, which reached its landmark judgment this past July.

OSINT and evidence collection is painstaking work. For years, it may look like small fragments, scattered puzzle pieces. But with time and historical perspective, those fragments become the foundation of justice and accountability.

We share this especially for those who only began following the war in 2022, or who discovered OSINT investigations only recently. Let it serve as a reminder: don’t burn out, don’t stop collecting the crumbs of information. Even when attention fades and facts seem overlooked, in the long run, every piece matters. This is how the true history of the Russian-Ukrainian war — which began in 2014 and continues today — is being written.
