Research the history of the area. Israel is less than 80 years old and was carved out of Palestine based upon a Brit's idea from 1917 (WW1). Look up the Balfour Declaration. in essence, Israel was carved out of Palestine. It was purposefully vague.

If you want to discuss the tragedies in Gaza & Israel, let's remove the theology from the geography. This is not about Jew vs Muslim, YHWH vs Mohammed. This is about attacks by both sides that have killed & injured many innocent people. Being pro-Palestine is not anti-Semitic.
