This is compared with 35% of students being (implicitly) told they 'failed' pre-pandemic in 2019, which still seems ludicrous. Do we need to lower the "expected standard"? Or improve education delivery?
It is really sad that 41% of pupils will start secondary school after having been told they ‘failed’ their SATs.
Children were in tears after this year’s reading test – showing the huge pressure Govt tests put on pupils.
Our primary assessment system needs to move on and Govt needs to look at the evidence on alternatives.

@amyeldr3d Yeah totally fair to be pissed off, and if they make literally 0 effort in return then might be time to cut ties. But for sure everyone handles stuff differently and the amount of notifications and whatnot can be overwhelming
