@skipper Ran it through a Twitter tracker API & you lost followers mostly over retweets of other people’s statements on political & racial events. You have had less influencers over 10k followers like your content last month & the month before. Your cat pictures are your best preforming.

@greyscale_omLit @SkyWilliams People wanted their video to appear first when searching "Free Vbucks", comments that say the keyword frequently tells YouTube that this video is heavily related to user inputted keywords. Meaning it doesn't need as many views to out-rank successful videos.

Expecting 2019 to be the death of tags. As automated CC becomes more & more intelligent, YouTube needs less reliance on the user telling them what your content is about via tags. Got a keyword you're trying to target? Be saying it CLEARLY in your videos for maximum effect!

At this point. You are seriously better off equalising your budgets on thumbnail designers and editors. CTR rates are now deemed more important than the watch time itself, since CTR can just about work without strong WTD.

YouTube has made back-end adjustments in which non-impression based views & watch time does NOT effect a video's visibility. Meaning direct link views contribute at a minimal. Interesting changes that mean we are MORE reliant on user activity on YouTube than anywhere else.
