@LitMomsNC When schools disregard IDEA because essentially they aren't scared of any consequence from the SEA, the whole system breaks down. Even when the SEA knows that schools fail Child Find, the SEA takes NO ACTION.

You can go into an IEP meeting with donuts and a positive collaborative attitude, but "nice" doesn't get your child FAPE. Nice DELAYS FAPE. Believing the school DELAYS FAPE.
