#BREAKING: Hong Kong activist Tony Chung has been sentenced to 43 months behind bars after he pleaded guilty to secession under Hong Kong's national security law.

Chung was former convenor of Student Localism, a now-disbanded group that advocated Hong Kong independence.

Breaking: A total of 47 participants from the Democrats’ Primaries were charged with Subversion of State Power. They will be remanded overnight, arraignment heating is scheduled early tomorrow morning.

The MAX penalty can be life imprisonment.
