My new FREE #WordPress plugin, Website Analytics is currently being checked over by the WordPress team to be added to the WordPress repository.
I will post when it is added so you can play.
I have a steady roadmap for adding new functionality without overcomplicating the UI.

JG Website Analytics the FREE #WordPress plugin for people who don't want to learn GA4.
If you don't want to / not got the budget to pay for one of the paid analytics services this will do the same for free.
