Fear Allah in your workplaces. Both men and women are guilty of transgressing against Him in these spaces. It’s already bad enough that free mixing, something prohibited, is unavoidable, but what’s worse is how normalized it has become to hug, shake hands, and sit around
“Be proud of your Islam. Never feel the need to be less of a Muslim just to please others or to fit in. Acknowledge Allah’s favors upon you anywhere, anytime, and in any place.”
We must monitor our hearts to ensure that whatever we are doing is for the sake of Allah. This is a constant endeavor that does not come to an end until we are dead. May Allah rectify the affairs of this Ummah and unite us upon the Truth.
Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Your nafs is just like your enemy, once it finds you serious, it obeys you. If it finds weakness from you, it will take you as a prisoner.”
[Bada'i Al-Fawa'id, v. 3, p. 1202]
then you are like a traveller who overburdens his riding animal while depriving it of food. Quickly will it collapse, unable to continue the journey.
[Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah), al-Fawa’id, pg. 66]
When you burden the heart with (deep thoughts over) worldly concerns and grief, and are careless (negligent) when it comes to the devotion of Dhikr which is what (truly) gives the heart strength and life....
Umar Ibn Al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said:
"The most important of your affairs in my view is prayer; whoever prays regularly has protected his faith, but whoever neglects it, is bound to be more negligent in other issues of faith."
[At-Tariqah al-Hakamiyah, pg. 240]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه اللّٰه said:
From Allāh’s mercy upon His servant is that He tests him with a trial which he can’t disclose to others nor can he find anyone who can understand it properly — so that his heart doesn’t become attached to anyone else instead of Allāh
Ibrāhīm 14:34
And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor [i.e., blessings] of Allāh, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.
Saying we are Muslims with just words, but not having consciousness of Allah is having a serious disease of the heart. Allah will allow it to increase, unless we correct ourselves. The choice is yours. Ramadan is the perfect time to treat and heal your heart with the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Then everything else will fall into place.
If someone claims to have faith, then it should be reflected in their actions. Allah knows what is in your heart, but you have to follow all aspects of Islam like praying, fasting, and doing all the good deeds.
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمہ اللہ said:
“If you want to know how strong your Imaan (faith) is then be keen on yourself in solitude (state of being alone);
Imaan doesn’t appear in praying or fasting but rather in fighting the inner self-desire.”
[Madarij as-Salikin | 163/82]

“The truly deprived is the one who wastes his days in idleness, whose limbs are set upon destruction, and who dies before awakening from his sins.”
[Az-Zuhd al-Kabīr by al-Bayhaqī, 294]
Do you desire that Allah should answer your supplications and give you when you ask? Say the following dua
It came in an authentic narration in Abi Dawud
