In many Ugandan communities, girls continue to be married off for dowry (bride price), treating them as property or as a religious obligation driven by myths and misconceptions. Let’s work with community influencers to shift from bride price to girl’s empowerment! A girl’s worth is in her dreams, not in cows or money!
