The goal is always to find ways to create public discussion within Richmond County, NC. Parks is always a hot topic, and with 70 acres of Open-Space zoned land to the SW of downtown, I thought I should bring it to the public’s eye. Perfect Green Space location!

Great news....the North Carolina Breweries map has been fully updated.

Several new breweries have been added to start the 2020 calendar year, with many set to open very soon. Should be another great year for beer in North Carolina!

As I noted yesterday my new project is going to revolve around the beautification of Richmond County and the added implementation and review of current Green Infrastructure in the area.

Coming up in 2020 will be the next United States Census which will help to determine hundreds of different categories including population, and most importantly in this case poverty levels. I wanted to construct a map that represented the populations of people in.....

Richmond County that were considered below poverty in the 2010 census based on each census tract in the county. Census tracts help to provide a more accurate representation of a particular area by dividing out the populations of a county into chunks of 1,500 to 5,000 people.
