“The ultimate Gemini has survived; I wasn’t supposed to make it past 25”

It’s my 25th birthday and I’d like to share a secret of mine:

Growing up, I always understood the odds stacked against me (uneducated family, single mother household, poor/no resources)

And I remember hearing stats about how black youth in the south who faced the same things typically ended in 1 of 3 things: death, incarceration, or a cycle that lead to either or both of these ends.

As strong as I have been since a child, I always thought I wouldn’t be strong enough to beat my family’s curses. I always thought I’d lose the same way my mother did. And I always thought I’d just be another number or statistic.

Because of this, I never thought I would live to see this day, but I was wrong. And in the process, I learned:

That no odds can beat me.
That I can live, not just survive, too.
That, as my mother’s son, I am just as strong and capable as she thought.

Take it from someone who’s learned the hard way:

You can win. You are strong enough. It is possible.

All you need is a little confidence and determination with a willingness to sacrifice.

@DeShongJason (For tub only) I think they say that the platform advertises content that may directly link to inappropriate sites and Twitch is supposed to be an all-ages platform. Others probably jealous because they/their favorite streamer doesn't get as much viewership as hot tub streamers

[Tony Giumenta @GiumentaTony]

@KIRNEILL @TheMattLucero Bro no way……..I haven’t checked yet but ima be so sad 😭

[Tony Giumenta @GiumentaTony]

@InfinityyOW I'm fairly certain Celeste is all keyboard based - I think you can navigate menus/level select with keyboard too.
