Glorious weather here at @CCT_Conferences High Leigh for the @churchofengland National Giving Conference. Really looking forward to a time of inspiration and encouragement.
Really pleased that my Living Generously series for @RightNowMedia has been turned into a reading plan on the @YouVersion bible app. And saw the advert for the bible app on the tube yesterday and burst out laughing, top marketing that.
"The story of how a love for God enabled a disciple of Christ to live a generous life."

It has been so good to work with @RightNowMedia on a series of short films on living generously. I am really looking forward to them being released on Feb 6th, and here's the trailer that tells more of the story. https://t.co/bZdLvPJNDX
A really excellent national giving conference, so wonderful to be back together again and to learn from and inspire each other. Very grateful to all those who contributed to it in so many ways.
Generous Giving Team on tour at the National Giving Conference in Leeds. Lovely to meet colleagues and share ideas whilst learning new information.
Plus Jan won a heated cushion!! #generouschurches@DioceseOfYork
Beautiful sunny day for the National Giving Conference at Hinsley Hall in Leeds. Really looking forward to learning together and encouraging each other as we work to grow generosity in the church.
Call out for @churchofengland churches. I'd really like to know about your income generating activities, things like hall rental, cafes, concerts... Please could you take ten minutes to fill in this survey to help impact future support - https://t.co/RDsJpgBMPp Thanks!
That was a great day, so good to be back together and to learn from each other (and laugh with each other) at the national giving conference. So much food for thought too, and inspiration and hope for the future.
@SaxtonJoe Thanks Joe. Carlisle diocese is one of the pilot dioceses for our national roll out of contactless devices, so over 100 churches in the diocese have been given them and the response has been really encouraging.
Meet Jonathan de Bernhardt Wood., one of our 2021 Lay Canons. Jonathan has been the National Advisor for Giving and Income Generation for he Church of England since January 2019. He's worked in fundraising and managerial roles within the charity sector for over 30 years...
@davidtstout@swdoherty@RevdRich Really happy to be involved in this conversation. We've learnt so much over the last few months in terms of how online training can encourage generosity in our churches.
Really looking forward to 'leaping into the future of giving' with @DioManchester today. Amazing to think this venue is going to be packed in an hour, should be a cracking day.
