I met Duane Ward once when I was a kid at one of the Blue Jays camps. As an aspiring pitcher I asked if he had any advice. He told me plain and simple "throw strikes." I've thrown my fair share of balls and strikes since but never forgot that. Rest in Peace Mr Ward.

Ultimately this is not on the current players, but rather on the team as a whole not committing to their own damn gameplan. Clearly they have a strategy of bringing up challengers or discarded talents to play with vets. And it's worked. Until they then throw it away again n again

@JakeHaleee The frustrating part is selling Joe makes sense money wise if you know he's leaving in the off-season. But to do nothing with said money, same with getting rid of Scrap or Envoy is asinine because it shows no commitment to being anything better than top 3

@TorontoKOI I hope someone realizes we need to blow it up before EWC. There is 0 reason other than sentimental value to keep the roster together for it. Insight and CleanX have been great players for Toronto, great people too, but it's clear there is no higher ceiling for the team anymore

Am I the only one who thinks trading Knies for anyone is a massively bad idea? You have a cheap, strong, young 1st or 2nd line scoring piece for the next 5 years...and you want to get rid of it for old former star rentals....didn't we learn how bad of an idea this is already???
