Here is something I do not understand:
If you run a legitimate security company, PSIRA inspects you regularly and whenever they feel like it.
They issue eyewatering fines for anything they think is out of place, and its then up to you to dispute the finding - but they expect you to pay up.
They will put on a white glove and check for dust on the top of the filing cabinet, examine your prostate, and ask for a blood test.
And when they are done with you, the SAPS will come by (whenever they feel like it), and God forbid you don't have all your ducks in a row.
Put a foot wrong, and you risk getting shut down right there.
But somehow every crook and his friends get to open a "security company", get access to guns licensed under Section 20 of the FCA, and do whatever they want and not so much as a peep from PSIRA or SAPS.
So whose fault is this, exactly?
With love from South Africa...
Just another armed citizen who "couldn't do s**t.
Note all the trained cops around, standing at the ready!
I fire more rounds in a month than my entire police department does in a year because we're too broke to fund them properly, but don't let your vibes get in the way of facts.
