@africacyberfest Since access to the internet is gradually growing in Africa, one of the best approach will be making contents that passes the message (what identity fraud is, the consequences, and prevention), by using relatable scenarios that can be understood by all regardless of the class.
There's a group on Reddit doing something like this. They make one person a millionaire every month. It's a random draw. Once you're picked everyone in the group sends you $10 I think.
There are almost 400k people in the group.
I keep saying we will do interventions each month for people going through stuff where we all pick someone going through “shege”.
Be it school fees, health challenges, rent, whatever it may be. And we all pool together to rescue the person or family sending the funds directly to their account (of course after verifying)
Thats 12 interventions each year.
I keep forgetting. Can we do such this month end?
