Incredibly proud to continue backing @eglyman, @karimatiyeh, Will Petrie, @faxherbert, and the entire Ramp team on their $1.85 billion Series F-1 at a $60 billion valuation!
One of Ramp’s greatest strengths has always been its product velocity. With the recent launches of Glass and https://t.co/TQcSMt9PEz, we believe Ramp is rapidly expanding beyond financial operations to help businesses leverage AI across an increasingly broad set of workflows.
Can't wait to see what's next!
Today, Ramp raised $1.85B at a $60B valuation.
Seven years ago, Karim and I wrote our mission on a Post-it: “Save companies time and money.”
Our mission hasn't changed. It’s just gotten bigger.
Ramp Co-Founder @eglyman joined us following news of the company's $1.85 billion funding round, which valued the firm at $60 billion. https://t.co/qgvZhA7dpe
Announcing the beta release of the Pi API. We’ve partnered with companies across diverse industries to adapt our models to their robots and applications, from harvesting strawberries to assembling servers. Now we’re opening access to more teams.
Drug discovery is where frontier AI can matter the most.
Today we're announcing @Chaidiscovery’s collaboration with @GSK, following a successful wet-lab evaluation of our models. Using Chai-3, @GSK found binders to every target tested.
AI is entering its proof-point phase.
@SawyerMerritt@SpaceX This will age like the quote from then–Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes, in a December 2010 New York Times interview when asked whether Netflix was a threat to Hollywood:
“It’s a little bit like, is the Albanian army going to take over the world? I don’t think so.”
AT&T CEO says SpaceX's phone strategy is not "viable" and that AT&T is the real disrupter, not @SpaceX.
"Satellite, at its best - if everything happens right over the next 10 years - is still not going to beat fiber."
On SpaceX's plan to install small cellular base stations alongside Starlink dishes on homes and businesses, AT&T CEO John Stankey said: "It would cost as much to do that as it would to build a macro network to be able to handle those capabilities. There's all kinds of other issues, like you can't radiate cellular signals from somebody's house without their permission, unless somebody changes the law on that. We can go down a whole bunch of reasons why that won't effectively work."
The AT&T CEO ended by saying: "I think we're the disruptor."

As AI scales and industrial and societal transformations unfold, information asymmetry and misinformation are pervasive. We've grown Glade Brook intentionally outside the spotlight, but we believe now more than ever it's important to open source our views where we can add differentiated, well-informed insight.
