As an Aussie fan, I'm shocked how Benjamin Foakes was dropped out of the test side. He is one of the best keepers in this modern era alongside Alex Carey and Tom Blundell. His keeping has always been top notch and is high quality when it comes to dealing with pace and spin. Scores handy runs down the order.
He's unquestionably the best gloveman in England by a country mile.
The quality of James Rew and Jamie Smith were very poor in the NZ test series.
Before they setup their best 11 for the Pakistan series he has to be automatic selection as a keeper batter and Jamie Smith has to be second choice.

Tell Harry Brook to grow up and concentrate on his game. He should bat at 3 and Bethell 6.

Foakes back as keeper and don’t drop him if he doesn’t score consistently all the time. Catches win matches and good keeping encourages bowlers.
And appoint a fresh coaching staff who are not all the mates of…
I love Trescothick but cannot see what he’s added.

These brought back memories of Devon Malcom destroying SA at the Oval.Steve Rhodes wore this model in that Test . Had to fit two new finger gussets & replace the perished fingerstalls .Then cleaned them up & re/dyed.Never easy with White but came up ok @KeeperCourt @WK_Union
