Wait, so the Bears are going to Hammond, but still haven’t selected a specific site which means they don’t have exact plans and blueprints and renderings yet. And of course they still own Arlington Park and will likely own that land even after a potential new stadium is opened.
If you insist on driving down for a Cubs game I am begging you to slow the fuck down on the side streets because people do, in fact, live here and speed limits exist for a reason.
@MilaKoumpilova May 1 is also college decision day and schools like doing events for their seniors to celebrate their choices. Many schools already moved those celebrations because of the potential closure.
Sad day for these pros
When bosses talk about “family” just roll your eyes
Take pride in what you do but don’t believe them
No more 2 week notice either as it is not reciprocated by them
Take all your PTO, sick days, holidays, clock in/out when you’re supposed to & enjoy life
First, any Super Bowl would be mostly hosted in Chicago, not Hammond. No different than in SF/Santa Clara. Also, the host city doesn't make money off the game itself at the stadium; the NFL keeps it all. See this by @JoePompliano https://t.co/thjHdF08s2
This is why at the end of the day its not a huge deal for fans, but it is a huge deal for the state of Illinois
Hammond, Indiana is closer to Chicago than Arlington Heights is.
But Illinois loses TONS of revenue when we get to host a Super Bowl
Here's the thing, Greg — free speech is still protected by the First Amendment under the Constitution.
If you want folks to stop saying you're the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people, maybe stop acting like the secret police who are kidnapping and killing people.
This past week, the WHO released a report after reviewing the vaccine - autism claim… again.
Formally examined in 2002, 2004, 2012 & now 2025 - across dozens of large studies and millions of children.
Same conclusion every time: vaccines do not cause autism.
@Chicago_NFL Can you point me to the quotes where the Governor and or state says they will unequivocally not be paying or helping provide infrastructure improvements for a new Bears stadium? I’ve never seen that said anywhere by anyone.
Congrats to @sportney_lyle and @voiceofcohen2. I’ve seen the huge potential for a long time and love seeing them recognized for their hard work and dedication.

Another chapter in the Bears’ Choose Your Own Adventure of Prevarication.
@ChicagoBears say they’ve been “clear.” They’ve bounced from Chi → AH → back to Chi → back to AH. That’s “clear” as mud.
And “no state money”? In April 2024 they literally asked Springfield for $1B.
They either have amnesia, an adversarial relationship with the truth or a bad letter writer. Either way, this is untrue.
Hope they read defenses tonight better than they’re reading the room. 🐻⬇️
