@theiaincameron It's quite close to *a* cliff, but not the one it will go off. The second photo in my post is basically from the spot it will eventually go into the ocean, if you look on top of the hill in the distance you can just about see the globe, so it's a few hundred meters away for now
I spent an interesting 3 days on Grimsey last Autumn (no way on or off the island in that time as it was out of tourist season), beautiful island with lovely people
At present, all five Nordic countries straddle the Arctic circle (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark (via Greenland), and Iceland). However, Iceland is just clinging on, and in the near-future it will lose its place in that list altogether.

Portugalโs flag carrier TAP began operations on this day in 1946. Today, the airlineโs fleet consists of more than 100 Airbus and Embraer aircraft. Have you ever flown with TAP or have a trip to Portugal planned? Weโre partial to windy Madeira ourselves.
@Rachel_A_P_ They used to be ยฃ30 in 2023๐ญ During the week they're a bit cheaper (ยฃ39.50), and I still think they're definitely worth it if you get a good seat (e.g. front row, which I have got quite a few times) but it stings having to pay so much for day seats tbh
