I’m concerned that, at this point it’s going to be difficult to remember ALL of @fordnation failures come election time. Let’s compile a list here for easy reference! I’ll start:

Blew up the OAP on the premise of ending wait lists, but the wait lists have doubled.

@mamaadvocate1 I hope that’s not the case especially with the slow planned implementation rather than the overnight destruction Ford did, but if it happens I’ve gotten pretty good at protesting and advocating and I’ll be ready to go.

Bought a house in BC. This move is definitely official now. Once the school year is done in Ontario, and we’ve had a chance to vote out Ford, we will be starting fresh in BC.

@mamaadvocate1 Yes. There’s still currently more support than Ontario and the intake time is years shorter. Also, there’s literally nothing left in Ontario for my daughter at the age of 7. No funding renewal, nothing.

@TheJenRollins Until you’ve stood in a BC forest you can’t understand the pure magic. We landed back on the Island yesterday for our house hunting trip and were walking through a forest within the first couple hours.

Talked to H’s EA today about the masking change and advised that we want her to continue masking indoors after the break. Luckily, she is also planning to continue masking so that’s one less worry.

Also, if they are honouring the date your child entered the list, shouldn’t they be able to tell me my child’s position on the list? We’re coming up on her 5 year anniversary of being on the list.

@StandingHannah Me too. H hates being out of her routine, any form of startle. Layers of clothing. She loves our house so much she’s kissed the wall before when we’ve returned.
