So, you want me to feel sorry for Steve Clark, who still gets to keep his cozy MPP job while making more than nurses who save lives daily? Nurses are losing their homes and resorting to foodbanks. @clhubes @AsivileZee And like basic shopping on transit is a whole different thing that we should all just admit kids are not suited for: by the bus trip home- a good stroller is your hero! Maybe that just doesn't occur to people who don't need to do it but UGGHH did i struggle lol

@genericericeric @NicoleMac19 Im really hoping these kids take this as a challenge to come up with amazingly confusing nonbinary nicknames and just cause this to collapse into itself: from what i see of their generation- they could totally do it! And more parents than ever would back it: it could be funny😉

@birgitomo And the domino effect is going to be MASSIVE.... A lot of them make very specifc investments here to help gain citizenship after their studies (ie vehicles) that are gonna have a noticeable hit and are literally keeping whole industries from catastrophic staffing shortages

@KimberlyNFoster Add to that we were in school for the "first big" school shootings, watched 9/11 live in class on repeat for 2 days AND had 2 recessions before we graduated.... were we supposed to be optimistic about our children surviving much less thriving?? Lol

I tried sharing the #mentalload with my husband and it burned me out.. Men are so unaware of how much moms do that even after a FULL YEAR: it's easier for me to just take everything back over AND be the sole-income earner than try to keep communicating what a family needs.

@itsginnydi Not really related but seems like a good example of "weird triggers": i get triggered by s.m.a.r.t goals setting, its a long story but its VALID AF... idk how thatd come up in a game but it's embarrassing and dumb to explain- I can see how other similar things could be the same

Ive been telling my husband for months I am burnt out and need to focus on me.... EVERY SINGLE DAY he asked me what I wanted him to do; and put the entire mental load of our household and our relationship on me. I know he is trying to help but how do i stop this?

@charlie_savage From what I understand as a person over 30 who works with youngs: it's simply because they are all "woke" in the way boomers mean it- to be not "woke" would mean you're dumb or privileged enough to be called out on much bigger things... ergo they have no need for the term

So Ontario introduced its new curriculum the same week every adult misinterprets the PM because he used proper linguistics.... I feel like that says something about our education system and its not great 😂
