I don’t know if they will, but I will. And I genuinely hate talking about it, because one never wants to give these pathetic keyboard warriors oxygen. But when I said on a pod a while back that an affiliation with Piker would hurt Democrats (fact check: true) the deluge of threats, lies, and attacks was genuinely nuts. And I’m pretty used to it after fighting with MAGA psychos all these years. But the Piker stuff is really next level and clearly designed to intimidate critics into silence. Which is why his calls for Dems to defend him will and should fall on deaf ears. Personally I think everyone should ignore him. He’s not an important figure in politics. But as long as Dem candidates campaign with him, he’ll be in the discourse. There’s a lesson in there for Dem candidates.
ALEX VINDMAN says he'll transfer a quarter million dollars to the DSCC and other races, including Troy Jackson in Maine, Abudl El-Sayed in Michigan, Dan Osborn in Neb., Chris Pappas in N.H., Roy Cooper in N.C., Sherrod Brown in Ohio and Charles Booker in Ky.
I've been permanently banned from @Twitch for about 3 years because I said a particular group of militant trans-activists online were "inbred" and that they don't represent the average trans person.
The CEO, @djclancy999, is personal friends with @hasanthehun though, and the two of them are pretty motivated to keep me banned from the site.
The last time I applied for an unban, the Trust and Safety actually granted it and unbanned my account, but Hasan saw I was unbanned, started nervously texting/messaging Clancy, and then Clancy manually rebanned me from the website lol.
Authoritarian types can only exist in echo chambers because they cannot stand to be critically confronted, ever. It's why @hasanthehun avoids any challenging interviews, and why the types like @mehdirhasan will avoid answering actually critical questions from people with the knowledge to question them.
The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.
The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.
Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.

The suggestion that Jewish Americans who publicly support Israel bear responsibility for violence against the broader Jewish community is wrong, reckless, and antisemitic. With a platform reaching millions of people, Hasan Piker’s rhetoric that blames Jews for the hatred and violence directed against them gives cover to those committing anti-Jewish hate crimes. We can thoughtfully debate the policies of the Israeli government and American foreign policy, but political disagreement can never justify violence against individuals or their communities. We must unequivocally condemn antisemitism in all its forms and stand with Jewish communities in America and around the world.
This is such a nice, thoughtful thing to do and I feel it's more common among the older generation. A totally unprompted, sincere letter encouraging someone.
Comments that blame American Jews for threats against them are incredibly harmful and dangerous.
There is no place for violence in this country. As leaders we must stand up to hate and antisemitism wherever we see it.
Hey @KyleKulinski , I noticed you were really upset that I pointed out recently that you didn't bother to vote in 2024. Are these records incorrect? Or were you just lying on your broadcast in the hopes that no one had your voter history?
Also, are you going to endorse a third party candidate again in 2028 like you did in 2016, 2020, and 2024 with Jill Stein?
