@FrankPOliver@davidleavitt I am also surprised by reaction of the public as well. A failure by private company is considered a learning but if same mistake was made by public company such as NASA, it would have been called waste of taxpayer money.

So many of the foreign residents you see in Dakar are either working for the UN, an NGO, or an embassy.
Most are living lives of fine dining, with nice cars, large apartments, maids and constant parties.
@clarewenham Yes, Have been wondering the same. It's not just the events which are just glorified retreats but also tons and tons of reports written by people who are paid daily/hourly wages that are equal to monthly wages of frontline workers in LMICs.
