Or, imagine a 13-year-old girl interpreting normal pubertal angst as a sign she is transgender because the deranged world she is growing up in told her that if she hates her body, that could mean she’s a boy.

Imagine she then falls into a fictional world online where humans can change sex like clownfish; a world of lies and wishful thinking, where puberty blockers, shots of testosterone, and a bilateral mastectomy will magically vanish away all her distress.

Imagine her parents take her to a gender clinic, expecting the experts to help her, but all they do is collude with her delusion and immediately put her on experimental drugs, allowing her to sacrifice her fertility before she could possibly begin to comprehend what that means, allowing her to opt out of womanhood before she’s even had a chance to experience it.

Imagine how that girl will feel when her brain finally matures in her mid-twenties, and she realises the mistake that she made, how angry she’ll be at society for not protecting her, for not standing up for her right to grow up healthy and whole.

That is the medical crime that the @CPC_HQ policy, if enacted, would end.

My 15 year old niece plays for a girl's rugby team.
She's a pretty good player & has only had a few scrapes & bruises until yesterday...
