@puppetxscum Yeah. Again, that uniformity in design was taught so even entry-level animators can be hired no sweat. Simple flat geometric shapes are easier to move than three dimensional forms with depth. Simple enough to apply a puppet rig, instead of needing to manually animate everything.

fiction ≠ endorsement. you can enjoy a ship, dynamic, taboo topic, or uncomfortable theme without endorsing it in real life. enjoying something in fiction doesn’t make you inherently evil or immoral. please take notes, it’s really not that complicated.

If you want to figure out who the real narcissist is and who the actual victim is. Look at who stands alone. The victim is almost always hated for carrying it on their own. While the narcissist is surrounded by groups, enablers and people who laugh along to keep it going

No one should ever have to be prosecuted for art alone. No matter how degenerate or immoral, art should always be allowed to exist 👏

The only exception is if it harms directly or is considered targeted harassment. But fictional depictions with no harm done should always be ok.

so basically idgaf about lolisho art. tbh some artists who draw it are nicer people than those who scorn others in the industry like some hs lunch table clique bs. so yeah. ain't my first preference, but I at least try to stay on-model with my cartoon characters all considering

gunna start drawing again, but i wad asked what my stance was on lolisho art, since i used to draw it.

my personal take is that no matter how offensive or immoral, art is art. in the same way political comics with radical stances should exist, so should degenerate work.

the exception being anything based in reality, because that falls under real harm and nonfictional depiction. Which isn't right unless fully characterized for satirical/observational, often political, humor. drawn porn based on real people is criminal to me. cartoons tho? w/e.
