Today’s First Things Last commentary was a personal story about Bears/Packers, connection through sports, and how seemingly impossible grief does get better.
Tiger Woods making the cut at the masters is nothing short of remarkable. The man has played 1.5 rounds of tour level golf this year and still made the cut. Even when other top level pros are easily missing the cut by 5 or 6 strokes.
What an awesome weekend at The Players Championship, it was awesome to see four guys with a chance to win on the last hole. Scottie continues to show us why he’s the best player in the world. Hopefully he’ll be able to continue this run throughout the majors.
Talking trash about Charlie Woods is not cool 🚫
He’s 15
Golf is hard
Competitive golf is 100x harder 💯
Nothing is worse than having a tragic round in a tournament 🫣
I’ve done many times before
- It’s embarrassing
- It’s lonely
- It’s deflating
It makes you want to quit 🤕
(Sometimes more than just golf)
The feeling after a round like that…
Is not a feeling I would wish on anyone on earth
So please
❌ Don’t pile on the kid from behind a keyboard
❌ Especially when you probably can’t shoot 86 yourself
❌ Let alone in a tournament
And maybe stop commenting on things you don’t understand
Thanks and have a great Thursday 🙏🏼
Keep playing, kid 💯
I’ll admit I jumped on the Cowboys bandwagon earlier this season, obviously that was a mistake. I now petition @brig_a_tron for permission to join the Lions fandom for the rest of the postseason.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The peacock broadcast of this game has been weird. Throughout the game they have had out of nowhere reports and highlights. I just don’t understand why we are getting Josh Allen highlights in between snaps.
The Texans are looking dangerous, I haven’t really watched any of their games this year. I knew Cleveland’s defense was legit, but CJ Stroud and the offense is making them look bush league rn.
I don’t think losing Rahm is as big of a loss to the tour as everyone says it is. There are so many rising stars on tour who are ready to jump into his spot near the top, aka Hovland. Along with an already stacked field, I think the tour is still in a strong spot for the future.
If Matt wins the final HoH, he should win against either of the other two.
If Jag wins the final HoH and evicts Matt, he deserves to win. If he evicts Bowie, he deserves to lose.
If Bowie wins the final HoH, she should lose to either of the other two.
