@MatthewStadlen Every time the Conservatives changed leader/PM, prominent voices in Labour demanded a GE, so surely if Burnham replaces Starmer, then they will have to call a GE if they wish to remain credible (although doubt they will)?
@KathrynPorter26@CommonsSpeaker@ClaireCoutinho@Ed_Miliband Wow, that seems insane that nobody has “the authority to require Ministers to give proper answers to questions”? So they get a free pass, and perhaps explains why the country is in such a mess.
@EmpressMedussa@DaveRobins20855@mishtal@ZackPolanski The legal age in the UK is 18, 16 with permission from parents (some people who follow Sharia Law state 9). So yes, I would condem a man for doing that, it's illegal in the uk. What crime were they stopping? Israel defended themselves, but will acknowledge it's gone to far now.
@EmpressMedussa@DaveRobins20855@mishtal@ZackPolanski They were trying to uphold the law, and the people breaking in and assaulting people were nothing but criminals. If they are that worried about what's happening in Gaza, then why don't they pack their sledgehammer, jump on a plane and go out there and take in the Israeli's.
@AllisonCGardner If he was putting the country first, he'd deal with his inept Chancellor (Millibamd too) and ensure the country had the resources it needs to defend itself....
@jeremycorbyn A miscarriage of justice. And a dark day for civil liberties? Are you have a laugh, they broke the law, and a police officers spine and you think that is OK?
Thank god an idiot like you never hot to lead this country.
@ZackPolanski The only person that is being completely dishonest is you.
You found it "gut wrenching" that somebody who broke another person's spine was sent to prison.
Your defending criminals, while failing to condone their criminal behaviour...
@ZackPolanski They broke the law Zack, and got what they deserved.
If you think it's gut wrenching that somebody has been sent to prison for breaking another person's spine, then god help us if you ever get anywhere near Downing Street.
@FamEdTrust So they penalise young people trying to make a better future for themselves, all while making them pay (on average) higher interest rates than a High St bank loans, and change the terms at will, something they'd be up in arms about if Banks did that to people. Awful Government!
@LukePollard They may trying to score political points and did a poor job when in government - but the fact remains you had 14 years in opposition to plan, 2 years in government and what have you produced on defence - a hollow promise to lift defence spending by the end of this Parliament?
@lukeakehurst Tough decisions? This government has done nothing but backtrack and delay for 2 years. The DIP is over a year late, and going by everything you have done so far, will likely be completely inadequate….. 14 years to plan in opposition, and what did you do with that time?
