So this girl you are seeing here is just 11 years old. She is currently living with her aunt in Onitsha, but according to her, she was brought from Lagos where her parents live to stay with this woman.

According to reports, the girl was seen wandering around after she lost about ₦2,000, which she had made from selling fufu. She had searched everywhere for the money but could not find it. She was crying and refused to go home because, according to her, her auntie would beat her.

A kind woman who saw her joined her in searching for the money, but they couldn’t find it. Eventually, the woman gave her the ₦2,000 and also got her something to eat.

But that was when they discovered something more painful.

The girl said she does not go to school, hardly eats, and had not eaten that day. She also said she has been doing this work every day. She has been living with the woman for about five years, since she was six years old.

She said she wants to go back to her parents in Lagos, but she doesn’t know how to contact them.

According to her, her mother’s name is Ugo Igwemma.

My people, please, let’s share this post. Hopefully, it will reach someone who knows this family or can help trace her parents in Lagos so this little girl can be reunited with them.

This is an 11-year-old child. She deserves to be in school, to eat properly, and to be cared for.

I don't usually ask for help publicly, but today I have no choice.

I'm trying to raise funds for a Total Hip Replacement surgery that will give me a chance to live without constant pain.

This is my story.

When I was 9 years old, I was involved in an accident that left me with a pelvic fracture. I was admitted to the hospital and underwent treatment. Eventually, I was discharged, and for a while, life seemed normal again. About two years later, I started limping; something wasn't right. We thought to seek help at another hospital, hoping to find answers. Unfortunately, I was placed on the wrong treatment. It nearly cost me my leg but left me with one leg shorter than the other.
Eventually, I was referred to an orthopaedic hospital and after proper evaluation, doctors discovered that the ball of my hip had come completely out of the pelvic socket.
I underwent surgery called in-situ pinning to put it back in place. Some time later, I had another surgery to remove the screw.
Even after those surgeries, I never completely stopped feeling pain. I simply learned to live with it. I adjusted my life around the discomfort because I thought that was just how things would always be.
But over the years, the pain became worse; what I could once ignore has now become unbearable.
Walking, standing for long periods, climbing stairs, sleeping comfortably, and even carrying out everyday tasks have become incredibly difficult.

I recently went for another evaluation and had an X-ray done. The result was heartbreaking. The hip joint has deteriorated badly, and the doctors have recommended a Total Hip Replacement as the best and most lasting solution.

The cost of the surgery, implants, and hospital care is ₦3,369,498.99 million.
By God's grace and through the kindness of family and a few generous people, I've been able to raise ₦1.6 million and I'm deeply grateful.

However, I still need approximately ₦1.6 million to make this surgery possible. This isn't just about relieving pain, it's about getting my life back. It's about being able to walk with dignity, work, and live without every step reminding me of this injury.

If you're able to support me financially, no matter how small the amount, it will bring me one step closer to this surgery.

We are writing with heavy hearts to cry out for help.

42 children from Mussa Primary and Junior Secondary School, Askira Uba LGA, Borno State were abducted on May 15, 2026. The children include toddlers as young as 2 years old.

Today marks 67 days and our children are still being held in the forests. We have not heard anything about their whereabouts or condition.

We have waited, we have prayed, and we have reported. But up to today, we have not seen concrete action from the Borno State Government under Governor Babagana Zulum to secure their release and bring them home safely.

Our children are in the forest. They are scared, hungry, and in danger. Every day that passes puts their lives at more risk.

We are pleading:

1. Governor Zulum: Please act now. Deploy all necessary resources for the immediate rescue of the 42 Mussa children.
2. Security agencies: We need a coordinated rescue operation urgently.
3. The public and media: Help us amplify this. Do not let our children be forgotten.

We are parents, we are a community, and we are desperate. We cannot do this alone.

Please, help us call on the authorities to act before it is too late. Our children deserve to come home.

There was another Math Competition, the Pan African Maths Olympiad (PAMO). The 2026 competition was just concluded in Ivory Coast.

Young Master Chifus from Nigeria decided to break a 20-year record. They did it in style.

Nigeria won 3 Silver & 1 Bronze Medals:

Chimfumnanya Aghaduno of Penny International School won a Silver medal.

Damaris Oyerinde of Ambassadors College, Ota in Ogun State won a Silver medal.

Luis Lu of Nigerian Tulips International College, the FCT Abuja won the third Silver medial.

Ikenna Enwere of BrightSun bagged the second highest score in JAMB’s UTME this year. He scored 370. Ikenna won the Bronze medial.

Chimfumnanya is the first Nigerian female to win a Silver at PAMO. She is the first Nigerian female with the highest score ever, at PAMO.

THAT’S NOT ALL. This marks the first time two Nigerian girls have won Silver medals. This is huge for Nigeria, & it was made possible by @SpecialMaths who tutored the children.

Their investment in these children over the years has paid off! I am so proud of them. These are the Diamonds we should celebrate.

Congratulations to our superstars, their parents, the teachers, & the schools involved.

This is a young medical doctor called Dr Innocent. He’s working as a house officer at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Calabar, Cross River State.

Dr Innocent and his other doctor colleagues who are also house officers have NOT been paid for 290 days.

Yes you read that right.
A whole 290 days of working as a medical doctor with ZERO pay. That’s about 10 months work with NO pay.

According to Dr Innocent,
The Ministry of Defence has refused to pay their salaries for no reason. This young medical doctors are being worked like slaves while receiving ZERO pay.

They have nobody to speak for them.
They have nobody to fight for them.
They are suffering and dying in silence.
